Euro Jet Belarus Ramping Up
Euro Jet, the leading provider of ground support services has ramped up its operation in the Republic of Belarus. Led by Station Manager Sergei Savchuk, Euro Jet can support flights into Minsk, Gomel, and Brest.
Located in the capital city, Minsk National Airport (MSQ/UMMS) is the busiest airport in Belarus, serving 3.5 million passengers a year. In 2014 the airport was completely renovated prior to Minsk hosting the International Ice Hockey Championship. Minsk Airport does not accept fuel cards, though Euro Jet can arrange fueling with prior notice. Please note that Minsk-1 airport near the city center closed two years ago.
Located in the southeastern part of Belarus, Gomel Airport (GME/UMGG) is located just 3 kilometers from the center of this second largest city in Belarus. The airport is popular with seasonal charter operators that fly passengers to resort countries such as Bulgaria and Greece. The airport is also a transit point for flights between Russia and Ukraine.
The smaller Brest Airport (BQT/UMBB) located in the southwestern part of the country operates Monday through Friday from 0830L to 1630L, excluding state holidays. An extension of airport opening hours is possible upon request. Euro Jet Belarus can assist with supporting your ground handling, fuel, permits, organizing VIP catering, crew hotels, and transportation.
