Vilnius Airport To Close Temporarily
Euro Jet would like to inform you that due to runway reconstruction, Vilnius International Airport (VNO/EYVI) will be closed from July 14 ̶ August 17, 2017.
During this time, Kaunas International Airport (KUN/EYKA) will serve as the nearest alternate. Kaunas airport is open 24 hours, however, non-scheduled flights require landing permission to be submitted no later than 72 hours prior to the flight’s arrival. Slots availability is limited, so please apply as early as possible. Aircraft are also restricted to 3 hour turns, with no overnight parking available.
Other Alternate Airports in Lithuania and Latvia include:
- Šiauliai International Airport, Lithuania (EYSA), approx. 200 km from Vilnius airport
- Riga International Airport, Latvia (EVRA), approx. 300 km from Vilnius airport
- Palanga International Airport (EYPA), approx. 340 km from Vilnius airport
- Liepāja International Airport, Latvia (EVLA) approx. 400 km from Vilnius airport
