Euro Jet to Support Flights for the Sarajevo Business Forum 2024

2. 05. 2024 News 3min

Euro Jet is ready to support your flights related to the 13th Sarajevo Business Forum which will be held in Bosnia and Herzegovina’s capital this May 22-23, 2024.

The Forum is once again expected to welcome thousands of attendees and representatives from around the world. It will take place at four different venues in downtown Sarajevo: The Swissotel Hotel, the Building of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly, the Sarajevo City Hall, and the ARIA Mall.

On the arrival day, May 21, the CEO of Bosnia Bank International and the Minister of Economy for the Sarajevo Canton will host a dinner at Sarajevo City Hall to welcome diplomatic representatives, investors, and international business partners.

Euro Jet has its own dedicated staff at Sarajevo Airport as well as at airports in Mostar, Tuzla, and Banja Luka.

Sarajevo Airport (LQSA/SJJ)

Sarajevo Airport experiences the busiest commercial traffic between 1200 and 1600 local, right around the time when most flights related to the Forum are likely to arrive. However, thanks to recent renovations and added parking positions, the airport anticipates no issues with accommodating the incoming aircraft. The airport’s operation hours will remain unchanged as traffic is expected to be handled smoothly.

In the event of unusually high parking demand, the ideal alternate airports are Mostar (LQMO/OMO), just 72 km south-west of Sarajevo, and Tuzla (LQTZ/TZL), located 80 km north-east of the capital.

For general aviation traffic, Sarajevo Airport offers a VIP lounge located airside next to the main terminal. The lounge has a separate entrance and allows passengers to go through immigration and customs while avoiding the busy commercial traffic in the main terminal. For crews, the main terminal offers a separate lane.

While fuel is expected to be available, catering orders should be submitted 24 hours in advance. No standard menu will be available during the Forum.

At Sarajevo Airport, Euro Jet's team of Country Manager, Aida Selimovic, and Ground Support Coordinator, Nino Ninic can offer a wide range of flight support services.
