Euro Jet Gears Up for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix

As Azerbaijan is getting ready for this year’s Formula One Grand Prix on September 13-15, 2024 at the Baku City Circuit, Euro Jet is also gearing up to assist with flights related to the event.

Thanks to our long-term cooperation and strong relationship with our trusted local partner, Euro Jet can offer a full range of ground support services for your flights at Heydar Aliyev International Airport in Baku. With our Regional Manager, Marina Abdushkureva overseeing the operation, we can assist with arranging ground handling support, competitively priced fuel, any necessary permits, in-flight catering, as well as ground transportation and accommodation for your crew at (UBBB/GYD).

While Azerbaijan mandates an entry visa for all foreign citizens visiting the country, the visa procedures have been temporarily simplified for travel connected to the Grand Prix. From August 15 to September 30, it is possible to obtain a visa upon arrival at the country’s international airports, if you can present proof of permanent accreditation by Formula One Management Limited or the International Automobile Federation, proof of accreditation with Baku City Circuit Operations Company, or a ticket for the race.

At this time, the airport has no slot requirement related to the event and parking is available. However, depending on the amount of flights, this may change and slot approval with required repositioning might be implemented. We will keep our customers informed if this does happen.

We recommend ordering catering in advance as well as sharing your hotel requirements with us as soon as possible. We also suggest minimizing refueling as uplift delays are expected.
