Russian President Vladimir Putin will host over 3,500 political and business leaders at the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok, Russia this September 2–3, 2016. Please note that all hotels in Vladivostok are almost full, so all bookings should be done soon. All crew and passengers arriving into Vladivostok should have valid passports and Russian visas. It is not possible to arrange a visa upon arrival.
The city of Issyk-kul, Kyrgyzstan will host the World Nomad Games this September 3–8, 2016. The international sporting event is dedicated to popular sports in the Central Asian region. The inbound airport for the games is Issyk-Kul International Airport (UCFL), however due to lack of fuel there, Manas Airport in Bishkek (UCFM) airport will serve as a fuel and tech stop. Euro Jet has very competitive fuel rates in Bishkek plus full representation at both airports.
China will host this year’s G20 Summit in the city of Hangzhou on September 4–5, 2016. This will be China’s first time hosting the Summit. Please note that from August 31 – September 7, the Chinese CAA will not accept any private aircraft applications for flights into Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport (ZSHC). The only exception will be for aircraft attending the G20 Summit. These aircraft will need to provide an official invitation letter that can be issued only by the G20 Organizing Committee.
Many world leaders, including President Obama are set to gather this September 6–8, 2016 for the ASEAN Summit in Vientiane, Laos. Member states include: Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. Please note that hotel rooms are very limited, so please make your booking as soon as possible.
